What really happens when you work on your abuse & trauma

What have I gotten out of working on my abuse and trauma?

There are a ton of symptoms I wanted to be relieved of:

  • Body symptoms, including irritable bowel syndrome (yes directly related to my early abuse)

  • Accommodating others and fawning too readily, instead of attending to my own needs

  • Insecurity, insecurity, insecurity - oy oy oy. I have lived with insecurity, sometimes heightened to a fever pitch of terror, for most of my life.

  • Relationship patterns - fu...k !!! Yes, I have them. I spent a couple of decades repeating painful patterns.

  • AND MORE...

These have changed; some more than others and sometimes more than other times.

But the BIGGEST TRANSFORMATION that resulted from my work on my own trauma is this:

I see myself, believe my own experience, and follow my life path more truly.

What am I saying?

That more than being relieved of all the difficulties I once hoped I could "cure" myself of, what actually happened is that my love for myself and my full humanity flowered with all of its attendant gifts, sufferings, errors, extraordinariness, dreams and nightmares.

This is what is waiting for you when you begin to unshame your abuse & trauma.

Because so many (almost all) of my students over the years have sought relief from similar symptoms… I decided to create a program specifically for this.

It’s called Trauma & Abuse: The Unshaming Way and the doors are open now.

See what past students have said about this work –

“David’s existence is good for the soul and humanity. Shame prevents joy and connection more than any other emotion.

I cannot describe the level of freedom that can be attained by speaking your truth to others who will compassionately witness you. Oftentimes, at least to start, the only person who can do that is YOU. You deserve to be that person for yourself.

David’s work is life-changing in this way.

Your take on the concept of shame is life changing. I hope you never stop spreading this message because it's groundbreaking. Thank you, a million shameless times.

“I'm literally watching part two of week 3 of the Unshaming 6 week course tonight... What a profound practice that allowed me to experience the expression on my face and currents of oppression through my movement with such a ferocity

“You're incredible. I will always maintain your work is some of the most profound and life changing I have ever experienced and has been an incredible addition to the dark feminine path I have explored to unshame my desire and truth.

“Thank you for being so willing to freely share the wisdom and practices you have spent a lifetime perfecting even here in the comments! You're so unique, special and rare.”

Emily

“G-E-N-I-U-S! I love David’s unshaming process so much. It has helped me find my authentic desires, strengths, and purpose.

“This was superb. Wow... So touching, captivating, MIND blowing. We're moved eternally. So Brilliant!!!”
