Why is now the Best Time to Start Alchemizing Your Abuse?

The trauma of abuse can stay with us for years, or even for a lifetime.

Some of us can feel the shame and trauma around a past abuse radiating outwards like pain around a wound, constantly reminding us that we need to heal.

Others of us can’t pinpoint specific moments of abuse, but we still experience feeling like we are “wrong” somehow, with a very critical inner voice.

It can understandably be hard to know the best time to address the trauma of abuse, especially abuse that began or happened years ago.

Today, I want to share with you why now is the best time to start   alchemizing your relationship with abuse.

Alchemizing your abuse means that you are reframing your relationship with abuse, and transforming the role it plays in your life.

You are releasing the hold abuse has over you, consciously and unconsciously.

You are liberating the parts of yourself that have been hidden and crushed by the weight of past abuse.

As spring begins in the northern hemisphere, the world around us is entering a time of renewal and rebirth. Collectively, we are in this time of growth and change.

You can take these energies inward and allow them to support you through your own journey to healing and wholeness.

Alchemizing abuse takes time. While many people experience deep transformations in their internal world within weeks of starting this process, it doesn’t happen overnight.

Each person’s timeline is sacred. Yet the sooner you begin, the sooner you will see positive results in your life, as you progress through this journey.

Increased feeling of safety. Releasing unhelpful patterns in relationships. Showing up more authentically in the world, proud of your uniqueness and your gifts.

This is what abuse alchemy can open up in your life.

Healing trauma from abuse can take years, or even a lifetime. Most people never do this deep work, because they don’t take the opportunity to prioritize it.

I want to leave you with this question: What growth and change are you ready to create in this new season of life?
